Marianske Lazne


Marianske Lazne Marianske Lazne is located 180 kilometers West of Prague. It is situated in a picturesque valley and surrounded with nice large forests. The town is a famous thermal station known for its numerous sources and its beautiful design. A range number of its buildings are the works of Joseph Schaffer who was a native of the town. One can easily see the impact of the Monte Carlo town on this architect when designing Marianske Lazne. The town contains about a hundred of springs among which more than forty are used for the respiratory and urinary apparatuses, including kidneys, and the treatment of various other diseases.
